I've been searching the web all weekend looking for vintage fabric from the late 1950s - mid 1960s. I have this memory of a skirt my mom wore when we left the city and spent the day at the ocean. The fabric was cotton with small green turtles on a white background! Happy memories. Thank you.Deborahnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8106423187981529375.post-56951154672163187552009-04-20T11:20:00.000+10:002009-04-20T11:20:00.000+10:00My favorite vintage fabric is this crazy metallic ...My favorite vintage fabric is this crazy metallic print with blue, turquoise, and gold on a skirt of my grandmother's from the sixties<br />maumauisginger(at)gmail(d0t)comAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05767590083243626842noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8106423187981529375.post-55793150448406718152009-04-20T09:44:00.000+10:002009-04-20T09:44:00.000+10:00i love a good paisley, something with enough detai...i love a good paisley, something with enough detail and colour to get lost in. There is a fabric on your website which I saved as a favourite though, that I really love. it's the Large Scale 70s Indienne Retro Floral Gree Ogee. I just love the colours and the design. Your giveaway is a great idea. I always enjoy looking at your latest fabrics. Actually there was a fab shop here in Christchurch called Cherry Blossom (they have recently closed but are available on line) and they specialise in goods made from vintage kimono fabrics. Part of their closing down stages saw some clearing out of some imperfect vintage kimono fabrics. I found and bought a fantastic purply pink with apple green and cream swirls through it. It is about 1.5m long & appox 30cm wide. It is hanging on my bedroom wall. I love it. Every time I see it, it makes me smile...... Isn't that what vintage fabrics should do? Do you think this could be another such fabric? Cheers for the give away. So generous and exciting.Blooming Businesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17105781735068850657noreply@blogger.com
