I am back at work - phew! - what a couple of days that was! My wonderful Mum had a cataract removed yesterday morning and today her sight out of her right eye is better than 20-20 vision! She can't stop oohing and ahhhing at everything - she is like a kid in a lollyshop, reading every sign she sees. She has worn glasses since the age of three (multi-lens etc), so to find out today she will only need reading glasses every now and then was a magnificent surprise for her. Life for my Mum was so much sweeter today - it was a joy to see!I am back at work full-time tomorrow - how I've missed thee, sweet vintage fabrics!
