A day to celebrate

Tibor

Today I found out I don't have cancer. It was a worry my doctor and specialist had. But at some time this afternoon my worry turned to pure joy. The wait was awful - a week and one day of toil and uncertainty. But, for me at least, I found out good news. I want to send out blessings to those who did not receive such good news today and who are spending tonight in despair. I am grateful - ever so grateful - for the life I have and to hear I had an illness such as cancer would be upended me. I am so, so, so very grateful for all I have, have received and am learning to live each day as full as I can...no matter what :)

Funnily enough, I took some fabric shots this arvo and finally got one of the Tibor Reich's 'A Tournament' (1967)...shots show around half of the full panel width and a close up. The shots aren't as deep as what it is in real life - but the pagentry, the richness and the pomp and ceremony of the fabric really sums up my day.

...riding to freedom :)
