It was 40 degrees today. Too. Darn. Hot. I don't like extreme heat - I am more a 22 degrees type of girl. Even a 19 degrees kind of girl. Anything not requiring laying like a lizard on a rock as I feel useless doing that. Much prefer the lazing in the shade enjoying a cool breeze...and, yes, I loved skipping as a little girl...all around the back streets in Brunswick in Melbourne...
I think that you should move to Christchurch. That is our summer averages. I hate it! I want 40 just a couple of days a year! People here complain about the heat when the mercury hits 25 and I am always "bring it on, get out and enjoy" but they are bunkering down as if it is 35. Hehe. Wouldn't it be boring if everyone was the same?
