We had an eventful day today welcoming our new ladies. I'd like to introduce you to Camilla, Chook, Miss Mary Land and...well...we can't think of a fourth name yet! They are gorgeous - so friendly and super soft and warm. I can't wait to see them start to free range, grow and offer their first egg or two! This is a big day for our sustainability and self-sufficiency drive...these ladies will give us eggs and 'dollops of yummy gifts' for our compost and vegie patches! The arrival of these ladies has already made such an impact on the boys - I am glad we're giving them memorable kiddies memories...
