Vintage fabric Snippet Packs have arrived!

Photobucket

If it's one thing we always strive to do it's listening to our customers. We completed a huge emailed research questionnaire mid-year, asking our customers certain questions about our business, what we could do to improve, what we're doing well, what we're best at, et all. One of the questions was whether they would like to see us selling vintage fabric wares and the resounding answer was "No! We like to make our own and we like fabric just as it is..." (or something like that) and when we asked what else our customers would like to purchase from the website we got "Small pieces, please! Even smaller than your scraps!" (or something like that)...

We've listened! Gone are the ideas of doing Retro Age Vintage and sewing our own bags, cushions etc - we know you don't want this from us! So...we've provided what you do want...

Snippet Packs...hurrah!

Every time we snip of a piece of fabric that is smaller than our scrap packs or not 6" wide (but long etc) we through them into storage bins. We've always kept them as, having Retro Age Vintage in mind, we thought we could use them for quilts, buttons etc. But that's not going to happen now (we have other ideas!) so the Snippet Packs have been born.

These packs could have any fabric in them - 1910 onwards to 1980s and the fabrics will range in size from centimetres to selvedge to selvedge strips. And we're selling them by the 500g - which is a lot of snippets, I can tell you...

If you want a sneak at the Snippet Pack lookee here....
