Dear Time

Can you please stand still? I want to pause you so I can inhale the sweetness of life at the moment. It's all so good - but it seems to be flying by. I am trying to sit and take time out to really feel life - to feel my family love and to watch my boys grow up little by little. I look at the sky, look down at the roses, say hello to the flies and watch the pigeons eat the cat food. I try to stop - and I do. But I want to pause everything so I can truly, really, entirely savour this perfection. It's because I know it won't last - and I don't want this love and happiness to end.
