We were promised a lot in the 1960s and 1970s. High on my list was living on the moon, as that just seemed around the corner. That was closely followed by marrying a sexy star-fighter who wore tight pants and suede jackets. And I also wanted a robot dog. I also wanted to live in a commune where everyone just lived - and that commune was on a starship. Apparently this Hedgehopper was going to 'take a market', too. The Arcoptor Gem III looks mighty cool, I have to say - but as little that was promised in the 1960s and 1970s came to fruition, I am not going to dream of owning one of these.
This is from Man magazine, May 1964.
